Pay off drum stand

Complete range – torque and dancer control available.

Caterpillar – two in line

Twin caterpillars for line tension control.

Straighten and Clean

Sets of hardened steel rollers and powered brushes ensure that conductor is perfectly straight and clean prior to applying glass.

Taping Bays

Two taping bays per line with a choice of taping head.

Multi bobbin tangential for large conductors or twin servo concentric heads for small conductors.

Enamelling, heating and cooling system

Curing oven temperature managed by PLC, providing ideal curing conditions via the radiant and air re-circulating oven. Cooling by forced fresh air circulation.

Take up drum stand

Servo driven drum carriage for control of conductor layering. Dancer controlled variable torque geared motor, combined with ultrasonic sensor ensures precise conductor tension throughout winding process.

Control system

Full communication and control between all line elements including ancillary equipment.
